When Steve Irwin died in September 2006, I decided to put his picture up on my frontpage, and link it to his obituary with a little note saying Rest in Peace. After a month looking at him I decided that something more should be done. Problem is that I aint the outdoor type of a guy, I dun like climbing mountains in the search of deadly creatures. How could I ever make a statement ?                         After all I think we humans need to handle mother earth in a better way. Steve Irwin made those kind of statements on a daily basis. The world needs more people like him in my opinion. We don´t need to lose them.There isn´t much I can do to save the world. But what I can do is to dedicate a page on my website to great people like Mr Irwin.                         What I needed was some content to add on the page, and I spent some days thinking about it. Finally I decided that the content should be news about Nature and Science. News that I would read if I stumbled over them. Some good news and some bad news. Not necessarily news only about the global warming or news about animals under threat of extermination. just plain news that I would read.
