When I first started this website www.72dontfold.com I hardly managed to open my e-mail. Mainly because I am old as Stonehenge. In my days in school we didn´t have any computers, ffs we didn´t even have a remote control on our TV. not to mention that I remember black and white TV. Still I decided to register a domain name and build a website.
Why and how I did it is another story.
Regarding the codes…. What can I say, I dunno how to create a html code, but I am pretty damn skilled in the art of copy/paste
For me it was enough if what I copy/pasted/stole showed up in the browser and looked good. Then suddenly I realized that some browsers didnt wanna show my stuff, very annoying ! took me 6 months to figure out how to solve that issue.. turned out I had to add .html after the index part !

Sometimes I dunno wtf I am doing, when I brake something I call for help. Luckily I have geek friends who jumps in and fix my errors. Then at one point I allmost felt proud over myself.. I even started to think that my website looked good. “but that was before I stumbled over the geek Capitol”
Google loves my site, they crawl it 7 k times a month. My page ranking is 3 now, not bad for a guy who don´t have a clue about tags or tables. My geek friends are telling me that I should install some bot that will allowe Google to crawl my site only once a week, just to save the server resources. wtf do I care about server resources. I rush home after work and jumps right into awstats just to check on my Google pets. I hate Inktomi slurps, cause they crawl my site only 3 times a month !
speaking of geeks.. I Googled around just to figure out what css was, and ended up at this site http://friendlybit.com/ If geeks had a Kingdom, then that website would be the Capitol.

Thats the first impression, but hey ! After a couple of days you pick up stuff, you get to understand some stuff. Suddenly you bookmark that damn site, and returns to it ! I do not understand half of what he is talking about, the other half though, have helped me alot. for example I no longer have shitloads of stuff regarding colours and such on my pages, I have it all in a .css file.
The scary part is this.. One year ago I wouldn´t have had a clue about what is written abowe….
I´m turning into a geek.

All of the stuff on my site is free to use, email, chat, blog, gallery, you name it ! hopefully I will be able to earn a dime or two in the future from ppl clicking on my banners and such. But for now it´s just a hobby.. I need a hobby cause I´m bored.. after you get kids you will automatically have alot of free boring time on your hands.. you just can´t go out and behave badly as you used to in the past.. And thats when a hobby comes in handy.
